My Future-As Far as I can See

I started classes at UNHM in the fall of ’09. I came here directly out of high school because I had no idea what I wanted to go to school for and because my parents refused to pay anything more. They’re reason? Well, your sister went there so your education will be even…makes tons of sense. Anyways, truth is, I probably wouldn’t have lasted away from home living in a dorm for too long-I like my own bed, and I don’t think dorms are overly fancy.  So 3 and ½ years later I am still here and expected to graduate this summer with a degree in Business with a  concentration in communication and management….I’ve made some progress from 3 and ½ years ago. Moving on, I want this blog to be like one of those vision boards that you’re told to make as a freshman in college so your chances of completing your dreams are higher. I made one as a freshman but have since lost it. Maybe this blog will be a better option for me. Each week I’ll post about the things that I want to accomplish either for the week, semester, year or in my lifetime. Some posts will be realistic, others may not…we’ll see. This week, I want to complete my first week of interning at American Red Cross without pulling my hair out and, or, quitting which will be a big issue considering I need to complete the internship to graduate. Here’s to a successful week!

  1. Hope the internship is going well! (And that you still have all your own hair.)

  2. I also used to have a vision board! It helps you make your dreams turn into reality. I transferred here after freshman year and I do like it much better. Like you I did miss my bed, along with other things of course! I hope the internship goes well and congrats on being so close to graduate!
